Older heaters running the non-bluetooth white thermostat controller must undergo a retrofit process in order to be compatible with this newer style black BT controller. Additional parts and rewiring are required which could leave your heater down for a period of time. We do not recommend this process only to gain bluetooth compatibility if your heater is otherwise working.

This controller also needs to have specific firmware version compatibility with the ECU inside the heater it is to be paired with. 

Requires 3-pin triangular black harness connector.
